We have always been very transparent about publishing our prices on our website and since the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation into the Funerals market and their subsequent Funerals Market Investigations Order 2021, all Funeral Director’s are now required to publish their prices online together with information about the local Crematorium costs, charitable donations, trading terms & conditions and ownership details of each funeral director’s, many of which are not truly independent but rather trade as part of a much larger or National organization. We are delighted therefore to provide this information to you in the attached downloadable pdf files.
For more details, we have laid out a further explanation of our prices below. We would be happy to discuss these in more detail with you and will provide a fully costed quotation to you once you have made your choices.
£1800 – Direct Cremation
A simple cremation – with no chapel service at the Crematorium (no family or friends can attend)
This includes: completing the paperwork and organizing third parties; collecting the person who has died (please see charges for collection outside of office hours below), looking after them with gentle care, spending as much time with them at our Barn, with a simple coffin and transport to the crematorium; doctors and cremation fees. A Funeral Director to support your needs, at all times. Collection of the ashes and taking them into our care, until you are ready to collect them.
£1850 – Full, Flexible Support (excluding coffin, hearse, limousines, crematorium fees & burial costs)
Providing bespoke support, seeking our help and guidance from the first phone call, to collecting your loved one and taking them into our care, to the day of the funeral and beyond. We will take your preference on location and timing, and create a funeral that works for you. Making all funeral arrangements with a dedicated funeral director to support at all times.
