Services
Loved Ones Funerals are contemporary funeral directors. We want to give families options that are more modern and relevant to current times.
We Provide a Variety of Services
Traditional
Burials
While there has been a recent shift towards alternative methods such as cremation or eco-friendly burial options, traditional burials remain a cherished and respected practice in many cultures. It is a testament to the enduring power of human connection and community, even in the face of loss and grief.
Traditional
Cremations
Traditional cremations can be personalised to reflect the unique preferences and beliefs of the deceased and their family, including traditional ceremonies and rituals that are important to them. Cremations also offer families the flexibility to choose how to handle their loved one's remains.
Green
Funerals
At Loved Ones Funerals, we have always tried to take an eco-friendly approach to funerals. We offer a range of coffins from LifeArt coffins, which are manufactured using recycled wood products. We also donate a tree in memory of your loved one for every funeral we arrange.
Direct
Cremations
This type of funeral provides a lower-cost alternative to the traditional full funeral service without any fuss while still ensuring compassion and care. Transfer to the crematorium is in our Jaguar estate car. After the cremation, the ashes will be delivered to you at an arranged time and date.
Golden Charter

Loved Ones Funerals is a proud promoter of Golden Charter funeral plans. These plans include the fee for Golden Charter funeral directors, a coffin, a hearse, transport, and other optional features such as flowers, catering, and memorial stones. Check FAQs For Your Answers!
In order to provide you with the best possible service, we have prepared answers to the frequently asked questions we receive from our valued customers.
We can advise you and provide contact details of alternative officiators who will lead the service at the chapel on the day of the funeral.
The only exception would be if it was the expressed wish of the deceased not to be cremated. The crematoria will also stipulate certain types of coffins can only be used. Many crematoria now accept cardboard, bamboo, and wicker coffins and we will guide you on those acceptable. Cremators burn a great deal of energy and are bound by legislation on very strict emission controls which will also mean certain materials cannot be placed within the coffin. We will discuss any concerns you may have with this.
There is no legal obligation to have a religious ceremony or indeed to have a ceremony within the chapel of the crematorium. These days, people may prefer to make arrangements at home to spend time with the deceased and then go to the crematorium for a direct cremation where the funeral Director only will take the body and the body will be cremated following a committal service which is not attended by any members of the public.
If you wish to have this type of send-off, we would be happy to discuss the options available with you.
