Coronavirus Update
During these very difficult times, we have taken steps to follow the government guidelines, so we can work with families and our team in a protective way. Funerals for our loved ones are still able to be organized with certain restrictions as follows:-
- Services can take place either at gravesides or in a crematorium and/or in a place of worship (Churches, Mandir’s, Gurdwara’s, Mosques).
- Currently only up to 30 people (this varies from venue to venue) are allowed to attend the burial or cremation. Although this is very restrictive, this is in line with Government guidelines and attendees should be limited to those who are not in any of the high-risk categories and are not self-isolating. All must be distanced 2m apart for the duration of the service.
We know at such a time of huge loss this is very difficult for you, however will are still able to make the arrangements for you but are having to change our approach due to social distancing.
We can still take your loved one to the funeral destination in a hearse but are only able to offer limousines to members of the same household. We can discuss other options with you, as families are encouraged to follow the hearse in their own vehicles.
We are still able to provide a memorable procession to honor your loved one, perhaps bypassing some of their favorite places on the way to the service and may be asking family and friends who are not able to attend to stand outside their doors as the procession passes allowing them to pay their respects.
Whilst regulations limit attendance, there are still many things we can help you to arrange to personalize your loved one’s service and celebrate their life. Funerals are currently being held 1-3 weeks after the person passing and most crematoriums now have the capability of playing your pre-arranged choice of music and hymns and many have the option of a live webcast of the service enabling those who cannot attend to watch the service online.
We will guide you through all the restrictions and options that are currently in place when we discuss your individual plans. We will also update you on any changes to the current Government guidance.

We will guide you through the necessary steps you will need to take to register the death and provide us with the paperwork we need to help you to arrange a truly memorable funeral. We have set up on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead at Boxted Farm. This was a conscious decision as we didn’t want to be based on the high street, rather in a peaceful and relaxed countryside setting with plenty of free car parking right outside. We offer funeral director services to the communities of Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, the A41 corridor, Watford, and all the surrounding villages and hamlets.
Both Ritu (my wife) and I have lost family recently, who we dearly loved and cherished, and know the pain and anguish you are suffering at such a sad time. It is as a result of our own experiences that we decided to set up Loved One’s Funerals. We take an open-minded approach by listening to your thoughts, wishes, and concerns. It is not just about a standard funeral service: we see our role as creating a unique and special occasion to celebrate your loved one, a true reflection of them.

We are able to guide you on your options
We create unique, beautiful, and memorable funerals at venues around North London, Watford, the M25 corridor, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.
Most people don’t know that you don’t have to have a traditional crematorium or burial service, it doesn’t need to be in a chapel or church. You can separate the service from the burial or cremation and hold it a venue of your choice allowing you more time to be with your loved one and say goodbye. This allows you to have a unique and truly special occasion that better reflects your loved one.
